PP – Observation Checklist

As you engage with your project team, your mentor will observe and note your contributions, which are an essential requirement of this course. Rest assured, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to demonstrate these skills throughout the course.

Demonstrate the ability to:

  • Support team members
  • Communicate according to the cultural and linguistic requirements of the individual
  • Act on constructive feedback
  • Use communication channels to share information
  • Cooperate and contribute to team goals

You will also be required to:

  • Identify problems and conflicts and address them according to organisational and ethical policies and procedures.
  • Participate in informal meetings and information sharing with workgroup
  • Support team members to meet workgroup goals
  • Contribute to workgroup goals and tasks according to organisational requirements
  • Share work-related information with workgroup according to organisational policies and procedures
  • Plan strategies for team performance improvement with workgroup
  • Perform tasks according to designated timelines and instructions
  • Plan verbal communication
  • Use verbal communication to communicate with stakeholders
  • Use non-verbal behaviour to communicate with stakeholders
  • Use verbal and non-verbal skills to seek and convey information in face-to-face situations on at least three occasions
  • Communicate to project team members their responsibilities and project requirements
  • Establish and maintain required recordkeeping systems throughout the project
  • Consult and communicate with relevant stakeholders to generate input and engagement in planning, implementing and reviewing the project
  • Provide support to team members to enable them to achieve deliverables and to transition them as appropriate at completion of the project.
